Asynchronous programming with Tarragon∗

چکیده
Tarragon is an actor-based programming model and library for implementing latency tolerant asynchronous event driven simulations. It is novel in its support for meta data describing run time virtualized process structures, which may be optimized as a free-standing object. We demonstrate early results with a synthetic benchmark, and observe that Tarragon can mask communication costs with ongoing

Simulation-driven Dynamic Clamping of Neurons
We describe an experimentation environment that enables large-scale numerical simulations of neural microphysiology to be fed back onto living neurons in-vitro via dynamic wholecell patch clamping – in effect making living neurons and simulated neurons part of the same neural circuit. Owing to high computational demands, the experimental testbed will be dispersed over a local area network compr...

Tarragon Consulting Corporation (henceforth Tarragon) contributed two runs to the new Common Core track. Both were manual runs using the NIST judged topics. Both used Solr as the base search engine with the queries semi-automatically constructed from the Topic descriptions and augmented with information from Wordnet and Wikipedia. Results are generally below the published median scores but for ...
متن کاملPotential application of Russian Tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus L.) in health and sports
Background Tarragon is a spice herb with a long history of culinary and medical use. There exist two cultivars of this species: French Tarragon is used as a spice in cuisine and Russian Tarragon (RT) has been used medically in Russia and middle Asia, mainly to treat gastrointestinal disorders. However, recent studies also reported possible antidiabetic and hypoglycemic activities. Ribnickyet al...
متن کاملEffects of Tarragon Powders’ Different Levels (Artemisia Dracunculus) on Performance and Carcasses ‘Characteristics Male Broiler Chickens
This study was designed to investigate the effects of different levels of Tarragon powder on performance and carcass’ characteristics of broiler chickens. 200 one-day-old Ross 308 male broiler chickens in a completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 5 replicates per treatment and 10 birds in each replicate were used. Experimental diets were set on the basis of corn-soy-wheat and Ross 30...
